RED POINT PROGRAM

Our mission with the Red Point Program is to burn ageism in the arts and entertainment industry to the ground!

Red Point was started as a reaction to the lack of support women and non-binary artists over 45 were getting in our industry. At Firecracker Dept, we wanted to be part of changing that. Every year we award a Firecracker (over 45) who is creating purposeful, exciting work in our community.

In sports climbing the term RED POINT means an ascent completed by a climber without falling or resting on the rope. The mission with REDPOINT is to burn the fear of aging in our entertainment industry.

RED POINT SURVEY

Firecrackers, we need your help! We’re taking the pulse of our members on a topic that we care a lot about.

This survey is an exploration of how ageism has, or hasn’t, impacted you. Your insights are valuable in our understanding the challenges facing women over 45 in our sector and in finding ways to promote a more inclusive and supportive industry. Please help inform our actions.

Your responses will be kept confidential and used solely for research purpose.
