Each year, we ask for the help of bold, brilliant artists and creative groups from across Canada to support Firecracker Department’s mission of amplifying women and non-binary voices in the arts.
How? Through our annual Art Auction Fundraiser — a celebration of community, creativity, and giving back.
Our 2025 Auction is LIVE!
From now until October 4th!
We start by gathering one-of-a-kind donations from artists, makers, and collectives coast to coast.
Then, we launch an online auction where you can bid on everything from stunning original artwork and handcrafted pieces to experiences and exclusive memorabilia.
Proceeds go directly toward Firecracker programming, helping us nurture creative action and connection all year long. And because we believe in paying it forward, a portion of the funds raised is donated to a rotating charity partner that aligns with our values.
This year we are proud to support The Shoebox Project.
Some of the auction items will be featured live at our annual TIFF Party — the Firecracker event of the year. Come raise a glass, connect with the community, and preview the incredible art up for grabs.
