Being an artist means carving your own path—and sometimes that can leave you in the dark! Mentorship is a powerful way to gain insight, build confidence, and learn from those who’ve walked the road before. At Firecracker Department, we’re here to help you reach your artistic goals, and we believe mentorship is one of the most impactful tools to get there.

Led by the brilliant Veronica Martin, the Firecracker Mentorship Department is dedicated to uplifting emerging female and non-binary artists. We know that real connection, honest guidance, and shared experience can be game-changers in an industry that can sometimes feel overwhelming or inaccessible. That’s why we’re committed to creating spaces where artists can grow, thrive, and be seen.

Our mentorship offerings include the 12-week Artist’s Way group, facilitated by Veronica each January through March, as well as intimate panels featuring accomplished writers, directors, and producers who generously share their stories, craft, and career insights.

We’re always evolving—finding new ways to support emerging talent through mentorship pairings, scholarships, skill-building sessions, and opportunities that foster connection and creative courage.

Because learning and sharing knowledge has no age limit.
